Our counselors will work with you to get you through your classes as efficiently as possible, while identifying any issue(s) that may have led to the arrest, addressing the problem(s), and resolving any dangerous behavior(s), so that you will be able to lead a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life. Our goal is to help you successfully complete treatment requirements and to make healthy, educated lifestyle choices that will significantly reduce the chance of another alcohol and/or drug-related arrest.
In addition to your court-ordered alcohol and drug treatment classes, you can expect to be assigned a social worker or probation officer. We will work closely with your court contact to make sure they are updated on your progress on a monthly basis. This is important, since you want the judge to know that you have taken responsibility for your arrest and are doing everything asked of you to complete court requirements in a timely manner.
It should be noted that if you have been arrested for DUI in Cook County DUI, DuPage County DUI, or Lake County, you will be required to complete your alcohol and drug evaluation at the court. Once you complete the evaluation, let the court know that you would prefer to complete treatment classes at DUI Counseling Center.
